San Francisco‘s Outside Lands Festival celebrates some of the finest curated music while celebrating the Bay Area’s best food, music, beer, cocktails and cannabis. The 16th edition of the festival will take place on August 9, 2024 – August, 11, 2024 in Golden Gate Park.
2024’s Outside Lineup features a curated collection of Grammy Award-winners, legends, beloved stalwarts and rising acts: The festival’s first day, August 9, 2024 will feature primetime sets by headliners The Killers, as well as Daniel Caesar, British dance titans JUNGLE, Gryffin and Young The Giant. August 10, 2024 will feature primetime sets by headliner Tyler The Creator, as well as The Postal Service, the legendary Grace Jones, Chris Lake, Schoolboy Q and FLETCHER. August 11 2024 will feature primetime sets by headliner Sturgill Simpson, as well as KAYTRANADA, Teddy Swims, Victoria Monét, Chapel Roan, Slowdive, Killer Mike and a Post Malone country set. Outside Lands Festival’s 16th edition will see a couple of new features and areas, including CASA BACARDÍ, a new performance space located in Lindley Meadow, CASA BACARDÍ will feature Reggaetón, Salsa, Latin and dance, DJs — and dance lessons in a two story structure, with the area’s artists playing a level above to the party people on the dance floor below. CASA BACARDÍ’s lineup will feature B-Side Brujas, Chulita Vinyl Club, Gasolina Reggaetón Party, J Noa, La Favi, Nanosaur, Rubio, PIERI and Salsa by Ricardo. 2024 will also see the debut of City Hall, a new wedding venue at the festival, where attendees can celebrate love and get legally married or recommit their marriage throughout the weekend. Located in McLaren Pass, among Eucalyptus trees, friends, family and festival attendees are encouraged to visit City Hall to witness these declarations of love throughout the festivals run. A portion of proceeds from City Hall at Outside Lands will be donated to Lambda Legal, a legal and education fund dedicated to LGBTQ+ civil rights. Additionally, SOMA is returning to Marx Meadow with a new, open air, expanded dance space, where festival goers can get their groove on under the sun and stars with performances from some of the biggest names in house and techno. SOMA’s lineup features Idris Elba, Uncle Waffles, The Blessed Madonna, Shiba San, CID and more.
Outside Lands Festival proudly features the best culinary, beer, wine and cocktail offerings with Taste of the Bay Area. This year will see a new food and beverage offering: Bites of the Bay, an exclusive food offering for discerning palates. For $20, foodies can unlock exclusive access to purchase up to 20 secret, snack-sized bites at the festival from over 70 participating restaurants. More details can be found here.
Lastly, the festival features Grass Lands, the first curated cannabis experience at a major American music festival. Hey, it’s the Bay Area, y’all!
