Over the summer, I caught Rah Digga perform as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of the Lyricist Lounge at Prospect Park, and admittedly I wasn’t all that impressed by her on stage. But she recently partnered up with Australian producer, M-Phazes and with emcee Nitty Scott for “Never Back Down.” Backed by a quick-paced, thumping dub step, Rah Digga and Nitty Scott both spit rhymes that sound venomous and inspired.
