Yesterday my dear friend C and I were walking to The Bowery Poetry Club to catch my friend Abdul Fattah Ismail read from his just released book of poetry Extended Syllables when I came across this gorgeous mural of Joey Ramone, a few hundred feet from the where CBGB’s once was. Joey Ramone forever! The Ramones forever!
