Last year was among the busiest years in the 13 year history of JOVM. This year — well, I’ve picked up some freelance photo and writing gigs here and there, and I’m still busily catching up as best as I can, whenever I can.
Right before I went off to Montréal to cover the 17th edition of M for Montréal, I caught Let’s Eat Grandma and rising, Baltimore-based JOVM mainstay Julien Chang at Webster Hall. (More on that later, of course.) But in the meantime, I love disco balls. And I’m pretty certain that a club can’t be a club without a disco ball. I feel like it’s an international law.
