Photography: Evening Sky, Lafayette Street and St. Mark’s Place

Yesterday, I had to check out Shepard Fairey‘s new Bad Brains mural, which is right across the street from the old CBGB‘s site. It’s a fitting replacement of the Blondie/Debbie Harry mural — and a much needed reminder of Black folks place in rock and punk rock.

I decided to walk west and figure out what was next, when I was struck by how the sky looked as I was about to cross the street at Lafayette Street and St. Mark’s Place near Joe’s Pub.
