I was at Lincoln Center to cover this year’s globalFest and I had a blast. I would happily do it again — especially for my deep and abiding love of global music. globalFest and Lincoln Center do a fantastic job of presenting diverse and eclectic acts from all over the place. Cumbia? Check. Sufi spiritual music? Check. Ukrainian punk? Check. Italian art rock? Check. Tunisian gnawa? Check. South Korean punk? Check. Salsa? Always check. And so much more . . .
Of course, every time I’m on the Lincoln Center campus, I’m always drawn to the fountain.
