I’ve passed St. Paul’s Chapel countless times in my life, but typically, the property would be closed. Because of the holiday, the property was open. I didn’t want to disturb faithful observances. And I was heading to my friends’ place for their annual holiday party, so it wasn’t like I had a ton of time either.
The cemetery on the property offered a few, rare moments to contemplate the inevitable, the universal fact for all of us.
