Last night I caught JOVM mainstays Yumi Zouma with rising, Korean-American singer/songwriter NoSo at Music Hall of Williamsburg. (More on that at a later date, of course.) Born Abby Hwong, the Chicago area-born, Los Angeles-based artist has started to receive attention with their latest single “David,” which will appear on their full-length debut, Stay Proud of Me.
Stay Proud of Me is slated for a July 8, 2022 release through Partisan Records — and based on “David” and what I heard last night, I think we all will be hearing much more from the Chicago area-born, Los Angeles-based artist over the course of the next year.
