Robert Randolph and the Family Band and Special Guests at Brooklyn Bowl 4/8/14

Robert Randolph and the Family Band and Special Guests

Brooklyn Bowl

April 8, 2014

With two equally demanding jobs, I’m frequently pressed for time – in fact, I’ve often wished that i had a 45 or 47 hour day to do everything I need to do and want to do. But until then I do what I can.

Back in early April, I was at Brooklyn Bowl – apparently, the Joy of Violent Movement headquarters these days – to catch the great Robert Randolph and his Family Band with a number of special guests, including Eric Kranso of Soulive. And as you can imagine, it was as expected an incredible night of blues and funk, that included each member of the Family Band switching instruments and soloing on each instrument, too. (And if you don’t believe me, Eric Krasno is a guitar god. Check the cat out live – seriously.)
