The Baltimore, MD-based duo of Beach House released their critically acclaimed album, Bloom through Sub Pop Records last year – the album managed to land on the Best of 2012 lists of about 50 publications, including the Village Voice’s Annual Pazz and Jop critics poll, and number 2 on CMJ‘s list, among others.

In early 2013, the band will be embarking on a rather extensive tour – throughout March they’ll be in Europe before returning to North America for the second leg of their tour, which starts in El Paso, TX and ends here at the Governor’s Ball on June 7th.

Check out the video for the haunting album track, “Wild.” At points the track has an atmospheric feel that reminds me quite a bit of The Unforgettable Fire-era U2 – thanks in part to the reverb heavy guitars.
