The Brooklyn-based band, the Bushwick Hotel have a sound that manages to sound somewhat familiar and yet difficult to pin down. When you hear their latest single, “Take Care of My Girl” from the multidisciplinary band – all of the members are also visual artists – the song possesses elements of New Orleans brass, blues,  old school rock and in some nominal way, Eastern music. And it’s done in a way that sounds somewhat psychedelic. 

The band will be playing at the Ella Lounge on September 12th, as part of the #Chooseinterestingmusic Concert Series during Fashion Week.
