The Chicago, IL-based, Natalie and Eliot Bergman are the sibling duo and creative force behind Wild Belle. Joined by Kellen Harrison on bass, Erik Hall on guitar, and Quinn Kirchner on drums, the touring version of the band as developed a reputation for their catchy hooks, and breezy pop sound. And so far 2012 has been a pretty big year – the band has received raves for their performances at SXSW, the Hideout Block Party, and others. They’ve shared stages with acts such as !!!, the Maccabees, and others

Gearing up for the release of their 2013 release, Isles the band returns to the States for a series of dates with Passion Pit throughout the late part of the fall. “Backslider” is the latest single from the forthcoming album, and the video which a little publication by the name of the New York Times premiered the video. The video produced by Natalie and Eliot’s baby brother tells the story of a man who backslides into old habits and revisits lost loves and includes footage that their mother shot while traveling Europe, Asia, and the Western US.

In the case of “Backslider,” it’s a moody, and yet breezy song. And Natalie Bergman’s vocals are slightly reminiscent of the Asteroids Galaxy Tour’s Mette Lindberg but smokier, huskier – fitting for the music.
