The Dallas, TX-based act Ishi has developed a reputation for a brand of dance rock that will remind listeners of acts like Cut Copy, the Rapture and others. “Mother Prism” is the latest single from the band’s forthcoming album, Digital Wounds which will see an April 9th release. In particular, the song reminds me quite a bit of “Sister Savior” and of “House of Jealous Lovers” off the Rapture’s great, Echoes. It has the same slickness while having an infectious hook.
