The Montreal-based duo of Solar Year recently released “Seeing the Same,” the last single they’re releasing off their much anticipated full-length album, Waverly, which will see a June 25th release through Ceremony Records across North America. Waverly is actually something of a re-issue that’s been reworked and remastered.

in any case, “Seeing the Same” is an eerily, atmospheric song – the sparse, minimalist beats backed with the occasional industrial squeak and clatter that allows the vocals to roam and float through the music. In some way it reminds me a little bit of Zambri and VYIE.
