“Wolf At Your Window” is the latest single (and video) off the Brooklyn (by way of South Jersey)-based band Raccoon Fighter’s debut effort, ZIL which was released a few weeks ago. Much like their previous singles, “Wolf At Your Window” owes a great debt to the garage band sound of the 1960s — and early grunge rock sound of the 1990s, complete with the badass braggadocio familiar to the genre, and to the blues. Just as important, the track has an infectious, irresistible hook.
The official video for the single is at times surreal and ridiculous but it manages to show the band’s goofy and very quirky sense of humor. You’ll see mad scientists experimenting with crazy technology, robots, guys with alien masks, etc.
