Woods recently released the “Be All Be Easy”/“God’s Children” and the single serves a farewell to Rear House, the band’s home recording studio, refuge and beloved shithole for the past ten years. And interestingly enough, the tracks are the first to feature the band’s new drummer Aaron Neveu.

The track reminds me quite a bit of the Jemez Mountain Hawkz‘s Hey Mez in the sense that it sounds as though it could have been played on 70s AM radio (with the same easy-going sort of vibe).

You can catch Woods during a lengthy summer tour with stops in Boston, MA; Portland, ME; Burlington, VT; the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, iL; Louisville, KY; Charlottesville, VA; the Bowery Ballroom; and several stops across Europe and the rest of North America.
