Astronomyy is a Worchester, UK-based songwriter and producer, who released his debut effort, There For U EP to critical praise over the summer, and the effort followed a series of singles he released through Soundcloud that picked up over one million plays. His latest single “Swim Deeper” sounds as though it could have easily been released through Cascine Records as the song bears a resemblance to the synth pop and R&B of the 80s but with modern production flourishes familiar to those who love downtempo electronica – that is until the energetic bridge seemingly comes out of nowhere.
