Bambara, a trio comprised of twin brothers Reid and Blaze Bateh, and their childhood friend William Brookshire, formed the band when they were all living in musical hotbed, Athens, GA back in 2008. The band moved to Brookyln and recorded their latest effort, DREAMVIOLENCE. (The album will see an April 30th release digitally through Emerald Weapon Records and a white vinyl release in June through Arrowhawk Records, in case you were wondering.)

“Nail Polish” is the second single off DREAMVIOLENCE, and much like the first single off the album, a brooding, tempestuous torrent of noise that reminds me quite a bit of A Place to Bury Strangers, Weekend, and others.
