BECOME is a mysterious electronic music recording project of the equally mysterious EXGF collective. BECOME’s second single, is a breezy re-working of XYLO’s ethereal and moody “Between The Devil and The Deep Blue Sea,” which meshes synth pop and reggae in a way that reminds me of Major Lazer’s visionary reworking of La Roux’s self-titled effort, Lazerproof. And much like Major Lazer’s reworking of La Roux, BECOME’s reworking of XYLO is a summery blast that should rock a party.
