Chicago-based rap group Project Mayhem are a pretty interesting group. Each rapper has a distinct voice and flow, all while telling realistic, situational tales of street life. “Amazing/Celebration” is the latest video from the group and it’s just some real hip hop – rappers spitting lyrics and dope beats. I think that when you hear these tracks, they’ll be unlike most of the contemporary hip hop you’ll hear on your Clear Channel/Starbucks/Nike corporate, conglomerate radio. Just from this track, I suspect that their latest album, Middle America may well be an unheralded hip hop record that you should pay attention to.
