Earlier in the year, MED and Blu collaborated over Madlib beats on The Burgundy EP; however, MED, Blu, Madlib, and Mayer Hawthorne are all teaming up for the Stones Throw Records Alumni All-Star EP, The Buzz which will be released on November 26th through Rappcat Records. EP title track, “The Buzz” has a soulful sound reminiscent of J. Dilla, emphasized by Hawthorne’s silky smooth vocals.
