Electronic music artist and producer Ross Tones writes, produces, and records under the moniker of Throwing Snow. And June 2 will mark the release of Tones’s anticipated full-length debut, Mosaic. The latest single “Avarice” is composed of a gorgeous string-based sample, bolstered by tense, buzzing synths and industrial clinging and clanking. Much like Tones’ previously released singles, the track is moody and feels extremely cinematic – as though it should be part of a soundtrack to a Matrix–styled thriller.
