Founded by Desire Vach, the Berlin, Germany-based label and music publisher, Snowhite Records and its Public Relations division, Snowhite PR work with a number of artists known across Germany, Switzerland and Austrlia, as well as several acts known on this side of the Atlantic including – The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Anika, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Sounds and Highasakite.
Formed back in 2012, Velvet Two Stripes are a Swiss quartet, who have won over fans and critics in their native country and across that region of Europe for a swaggering and sleazy electronic-based, power chord rock sound that bears a bit of a resemblance to the likes of The Black Keys, The Dough Rollers, Dirty Ghosts and tons of other contemporary acts – but boozier, and scuzzier, as you’ll hear on “Mad Machine,"
Based on this single, the band’s full-length debut, VTS, which Snowhite Records released last week should sound as though it should be the soundtrack of the dive bars and dicey music venues i spent way too much time in – The Library, Sophie’s, The Continental, the sadly soon-to-be closing Death by Audio and so many others.
