Freddie Gibbs, one of hip hop’s most unheralded contemporary emcee teams up with Madlib on an album that Rapcats will be releasing soon titled, Piñata. But before the official release of that album, “Deeper” is the last of a trio of 12 inches sold before the official release of the album. And the track is an eerie, atmospheric bit of hip hop with a deeply menacing vibe to it.
