If you’ve regularly followed this site over the last couple of years, you’d know that lately I’ve been receiving a large number of emails from bands and artists from all over the world. So I recently heard from the Spokane, WA-based band Teen Blonde, a shoegaze, electro pop act consisting of Ramsey Troxel and Adam Price.
The duo’s latest single “Picture Perfect Day” is an ethereal yet cinematic song that manages to evoke the sensation of waking from a pleasant dream, looking out of your window and seeing a gorgeous spring day thanks to ethereal guitar and synth. You can also envision the song as part of a lengthy sequence of the world waking up to go to work, school or whatever at the very beginning of a charming indie movie about an idiosyncratic protagonist.
