It’s been a while since i’ve had a throwback post, and since i mentioned Timex Social Club’s “Rumors” in relation to both Public Enemy‘s Apocalypse 91: The Enemy Strikes Black and Steven A. Clark’s Weathervane Music collaboration with members of Man Man, the War on Drugs, and Ava Luna. 

The track brings back a lot of memories – mostly of listening to this track on the AM radio of a beaten up, brown, ’79 Dodge Aspen.
