James Chapman writes, records and performs under the moniker, Maps and his forthcoming Mute Records release, Vicissitude, which will drop on July 9th is the follow-up to his critically acclaimed debut, We Will Create. Whereas We Will Create was more of a hedonistic, party feel, Vicissitude is a much darker affair, as the material probes deeply into Chapman’s psyche.

“I Heard Them Say” is the first single from Maps’ forthcoming album – it’ll see a July 9th release  through Mute Records– and it has an ominous, almost industrial feel while having accessible, pop hooks.
