Liars’ 2012 release, WIXIW landed as co-number 21 on this site’s Best of 2012 list. As an album, WIXIW continues the act’s reputation for being a sound that’s unusual, unsettling and absolutely uncompromising. “The Color of Doubt” is one of the stranger songs on the album, as it’s an anxious feverish dream of a song with an underlying level of dread. 

The video has some interesting visuals – adding to the song’s sense of dread and anxiety in some way.
