If you’ve been frequenting this site over the past month or if you’ve been following me through my various social media sites, you’d know that the past month has been rather busy for me; but as January came to a close, I caught JOVM mainstay artist Anna Rose play a set of material off Behold A Pale Horse and her latest EP, Strays in the Cut, a bluesy, slow-burning cover of Jimi Hendrix‘s “Manic Depression” and rousing yet sensual cover of Warren Zevon‘s “My Shit’s Fucked Up,” which has become a live set standard at Rockwood Music Hall.
