Live Concert Photography: Be Your Own Pet with Birthday Girl at Elsewhere Hall 10/21/23
I’ve been busily attempting to catch up on my photo editing and a few other things before the close of 2023. October was part of one of the busiest periods in recent JOVM history. I was at Elsewhere Hall to catch Be Your Own Pet, the acclaimed outfit that returned from a 15 year hiatus with a roar with the release of their long-awaited third album Mommy. Their headlining set was a raucous and anthemic ripper that had the Elsewhere crowd in a sweaty frenzy.
Local punks Birthday Girl opened with a noisy, unhinged set.
