Live Concert Photography: Fletcher C. Johnson with Country Westerns and Robert Earl Thomas at The Broadway 7/20/19
Fletcher C. Johnson is a Southern Vermont-born, Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter and guitarist who specializes in country-tinged guitar pop with a backing band that features Todd Martin (bass), John Dougherty (drums) and Adam Meisterhans (guitar) — but interestingly enough Johnson can trace the origins of his music career back to the early 90s, when he played guitar and wrote songs for local anarchy-punk band Aristocracy, as well as projects with King Tuff‘s Kyle Thomas, J. Pereira, a stint with The Weight and as a member of King Tuff’s live touring band.
Johnson played a headlining set at The Broadway earlier this year with Nashville-based act Country Westerns and Widowspeak‘s Robert Earl Thomas. Check out some photos from the show below.
Led by The Weight’s Joseph Plunket, Country Westerns are a Nashville-based act that meshes rock ‘n’ roll with country music.
Robert Earl Thomas is a Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter and guitarist, best known as a member of the acclaimed indie rock act Widowspeak. His solo effort Another Age finds Thomas stepping out into the forefront as a songwriter, whose work focuses on small moments with big emotional footprints.
