Last month, I caught POND vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Jay Watson, the creative mastermind behind JOVM mainstay GUM, touring with a backing band, play a career-spanning set at Bowery Ballroom that primarily focused on the material off his excellent Saturnia. JOVM mainstays GIFT opened the night with a set centered on last year’s excellent Momentary Presence.
