If you’ve been frequenting this site or my various other social media channels, you’d know that the past few weeks have been very busy: Live music is fucking back, y’all! Speaking of live music being back, back in late September, my mom and I caught acclaimed JOVM mainstay act Heartless Bastards, led by the fantastic Erika Wennerstrom at Bowery Ballroom. Texan indie outfit Tele Novella opened the night with some gorgeous, Wes Anderson-like vibes.
