As I’ve already mentioned a number of times on this site, it’s been a very busy summer as there have been a ton of great live music all across one of the greatest music cities in the entire world. Just last month, I was at Brooklyn Bowl, the unofficial home office of JOVM to catch Talib Kweli spit knowledge backed by a live band, and it included some guest spots by Rapsody, his protege and label signing NIKO IS, K Valentine and others for a night of positive and forceful hip-hop.
