Earlier this month, I caught The Go Team play a headlining set at Irving Plaza to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut Thunder, Lightning, Strike. Rising Montréal-based collective La Sécurité opened and won the crowd with their puckish, riot girl-take on post punk.
