Live Concert Photography: The Pharcyde with Show Relle and DJ Breakbeat Lou at Brooklyn Bowl 11/16/23
The Pharcyde played a headlining set at Brooklyn Bowl, a little over a week ago that was primarily centered around their legendary and beloved first two albums, 1992’s Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde and 1995’s Labcabincalifornia, which features production from a then-unknown J. Dilla. Philadelphia-based emcee Show Relle spit some serious bars. DJ Breakbeat Lou got the crowd warmed up.
The whole night brought back some deep and much-needed nostalgia. I was 13 when Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde came out; 16 when Labcabincalifornia came out.
