Made Violent is a Buffalo, NY-based trio consisting of Joe White (bass), Justin Acee (drums) and Rob Romano (guitar). And like quite a number of bands, the trio have played together for quite some time, developing a reputation in their hometown as a band to pay attention to; in fact, the band has received a bit of attention across the blogosphere, including here for a sound that bears a resemblance to Is This It-era Strokes — but with an unfettered, primal sense of abandon. 

“You Had It Easy” is the latest single off a split single “You Had It Easy”/“Talk About It,” which the band recently released last week. And in an age where some of the passion and fury has been taken out of rock it’s great to see it again.
