Montreal-based band Stars have won over fans with a sound that’s at times earnest, delicate and a pop sensibility reminiscent of 1980s New Wave – in particular, a sunnier, warmer New Order. They’re great live – they play an infectiously effervescent energy – and they announced a lengthy West Coast tour with stops at Minneapolis, MN; Winnipeg, MB; Saskatoon, SK; Calgary, AB; Edmonton, AB; San Diego, CA; Flagstaff, AZ; and a couple of dates at the Coachella Festival. 

With that in mind, they released a lyric video for “Hold on When You Get Love, and Let Go When You Give It” off their latest effort, The North.
