More Light is the first Primal Scream album in over five years, and it includes guest spots from the likes of the legendary Robert Plant, Kevin Shields, the Pop Group’s Mark Stewart and Jason Faulkner. Right around the announcement of a 2014 North American tour, which will include a stop at Warsaw on May 11, 2014, the band released the official video for the album’s latest single “Goodbye Johnny.”

The video is produced by long-time friend and clothing designer Alister Mackie, and it touts a high concept and a very low budget. Shot on an iPhone at London’s original gay S&M club, the Backstreet, the video features several Bobby Gillespie lookalikes, two glamorous drag queens, and a classic wheel projector. The video manages to evoke images of Andy Warhol while being perfectly suited for a smoky, seedy song.
