Orlando-based rock outfit Stiletto Red, led by frontman Giorgos Panagiotakis was founded by Jared Grey back in 2013. The band re-emerged after a several year hiatus with their recently released album, the Adriel Garcia-produced Breathe, Bleed, Kneel, an effort that showcases their high-energy, arena rock sound paired with emotionally charged lyrics and slick, modern production.
“This album is a culmination of our growth as musicians and people,” Stiletto Red’s Jared Grey says. “It’s about confronting the past, living passionately, and always moving forward, no matter the odds.”
Breathe, Bleed, Kneel‘s latest single “Landmines” is a swaggering arena rock friendly ripper featuring enormous power chords, pulsing synths, thunderous drumming, rousingly anthemic hooks and choruses paired with Panagiotakis’ soulful rock god-like delivery. Sonically, the result is a song that recalls Tigercub, Candelbox and others while rooted in heart-worn-on-sleeve earnestness.
