Cumeo Project is a Seoul, South Korea-based electronic music production duo who have received international attention from the likes of XLR8R, Gold Flake Paint, Earmilk and others for a slickly produced, airy sound.
The duo recently released their full-length debut No Youth Flowers and the album’s first single “I Feel You” consists of skittering percussion backed by big, explosive beats, meandering synths and a repetitive vocal sample to create a breezy summer anthem-like song with tight, infectious hooks; in fact, the song sounds as though it could have been released by several artists on the Cascine Records roster.
The recently released official video fittingly uses cartoon animation from the 80s on what feels like an endless loop with the vocal hook’s lyric “I Feel You” explodes upon the screen.
