
Mad Cool Festival‘s 10th edition will take place at Iberdrola Music in Villaverde, Madrid between July 8, 2026-July 11, 2026. The four-day festival will bring over 70 of music’s biggest names to rock the Spanish capital.
Wednesday, July 8, 2026: The 2026 edition’s first day will be headlined by Foo Fighters. The band’s headlining set promises to be a blend of their greatest hits with tracks from their latest album — and it’s the only chance to see them in Spain in 2026, as part of their global Take Over Tour. Moby, who will be playing his first show in Madrid in several years. Wolf Alice, who will be returning to Mad Cool Festival to play material from their Mercury Prize-nominated album The Clearing. And the day’s final headliner will be The War on Drugs.
The festival’s first day will be rounded out by The Last Dinner Party, who will be making their first Mad Cool Festival appearance, as well as The Warning, Jehnny Beth, The War and Treaty, Palaye Royale, Dogstar, Hot Milk, Villanelle, HotWax, MadMadMad and Bigger Splash.
Thursday, July 9, 2026: The 2026 edition’s second day will be headlined by Florence + The Machine, who will be returning to the festival to support their chart-topping new album, Everybody Scream. Internationally acclaimed, Kiwi artist Lorde will make her Madrid and Mad Cool Festival debut, supporting her fourth album Virgin, one of 2025’s most celebrated albums. Blackpink‘s Jennie will be playing a set that blends R&B, hip-hop and K-POP. Teddy Swims, the singer/songwriter behind hits like “Lose Control” will be one of the second day’s headliners.
Thursday will be rounded out by Renée Rapp, who will be making her Madrid and Mad Cool Festival debut, as well as Zara Larsson, Charlie Puth, The Blaze, CMAT, Frost Children, Sadie Jean, Son Mieux, Zimmer90 and Chloe Slater.
Friday, July 10, 2026: The festival’s third day will headlined by the Grammy Award-winning duo Twenty One Pilots, who will play an explosive set that combines pop, rock, hip-hop and powerful visuals. Kings of Leon will be returning to Mad Cool, honoring a promise they made to fans. Their set will feature smash-hits like “Sex on Fire” and “Use Somebody.” Beloved alt-rock band Pixies will be touring to celebrate their 40th anniversary. Their set will feature beloved and timeless classics like “Where’s My Mind,” “Here Comes Your Man,” “Hey” and others. The day’s final headliner Halsey will play an intense, visually strike set that explores themes of mental health and human rights through music and theater.
The third day will be rounded out by A Perfect Circle, as part of their European tour. Additionally, Sigrid, Interpol, Holly Humberstone, Midnight Generation, Cliffords, Usted Señalemelo, Karen Dio, Rio Kosta and My First Time will also take the Mad Cool stage.
Saturday, July 11, 2026: The festival’s final day will be headlined by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, who will be playing a set that commands a profound connection with their audience. Britpop legends PULP, led by Jarvis Cocker will be returning to Madrid and Mad Cool Festival after more than 30 years away. Their set will showcase their latest effort, More alongside songs like “Common People” and “Disco 2000.” The legendary Talking Heads founder and frontman David Byrne will be playing material from his recently released solo effort Who is the Sky? and beloved Talking Heads songs in a set that blends choreography, theater and emotion in an immersive spectacle. The Black Crowes, led by the Blackest White Man Ever, Chris Robinson will be playing material from their lengthy catalog.
The day will be rounded out by Kasabian, Jalen Ngonda, The Vaccines, Matt Beringer, The Reytons, Persia Holder, Overpass, TTSSFU and Supermodel*.
Between July 9, 2026 – July 11, 2026, electronic music lovers will have their own space, which will feature a collection of world-class DJs and producers, including Richie Hawtin, Boys Noize, Polo & Pan, Nina Kraviz, Swimming Paul, Weval, Palms Trax and Bunt..
The festival will continue to showcase the best Spanish talent to an international stage. Next year will feature acts like La Paloma, alongside innovative projects like Hoonine and rising electronic artists Aerea, Young Prado and Luxi Villar. The 10th edition will also feature the future winners of Mad Cool Talent and Mad Cool DJ Talent by Vibra Mahou.
The 2026 edition promises to be a much more intimate and exclusive experience, redesigned to prioritize fan and comfort and wellbeing. Iberdola Music with its extensive capacity, infrastructure and accessibility will ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the festival’s attendees while maintaining high production standards.
