Originally based in Vermont and now based in Los Angeles, the power pop/garage rock artist King Tuff (a.k.a Kyle Thomas) released his newest single, “Screaming Skull” to celebrate the announcement of added dates to his fall/winter tour, and three CMJ gigs. Now his tour will end on December 14th at the Eagle Rock Center for the Arts in Los Angeles. And his CMJ gigs include a set at Sub Pop Records Rocktober Fest at the Knitting Factory on October 18; the Inland Empire Touring showcase and a late night set at Cheap Storage on the 19th.

“Screaming Skull,” reminds me a lot of the Stone Roses as it has a twangy, psychedelic feel. It has a rather catchy hook that burrows it way into your brain, man.
