Creatives Rebuild New York alongside a collection of partners launched the Art Takes Work campaign on a frigid Wednesday night in Times Square. As a Creatives Rebuild New York Guaranteed Income Artist, I stopped by to show those folks love. The campaign is a necessary one: It’s a reminder that many artists take up all manner of work to survive and to fund their art, sometimes at the expense of their creative endeavors.

The Art Takes Work campaign was accompanied by a gorgeous video, which premiered on the billboards in Times Square — without sound, sadly.
