Several years ago, while covering a show for New York Magazine’s Vulture Blog, I caught Shams open for Blondes DJs and Teengirl Fantasy. At the time, he was doing some loud, experimental electronica with filthy dirty entendres – and other times it was just straight out filthy. But man, it was so fucking incredible. His forthcoming EP, Piano Cloud which 100% Silk will release on May 21st is a shimmering bit of house music that sounds perfect for around 3am.
