Simply put, Madlib may arguably be one hip-hop’s most inventive, wildly original and prolific artists and producers. Rappcats will be releasing his latest effort, Trouble Will Find Me, a limited release 12″ vinyl which will feature 3 original rap tracks and 3 instrumentals on September 1. The album’s first single, album title track, “Trouble Will Find Me” has Madlib rapid-fire rhyming over an old school, soulful sample that sounds like it was taken from a Lou Rawls track; interestingly, the song continues Madlib’s reputation for fusing dusty, old soul tracks with his dexterous flow.
