The Growlers have been especially prolific as they released the Hung at Heart full-length earlier this year, and then went back into the studio to record a bunch of newly written material which will appear on the band’s forthcoming effort, Gilded Pleasures which Everloving Records will release on November 12th. 

“Humdrum Blues” is the first single from their new effort and it’s a smokey, grimy blues that owes a debt to 60s garage rock – especially the use of organs in the bridge. 

The band will embark on a month long North American tour which will include stops at some of the following: Vancouver, BC; Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; Omaha, NE; Chicago, IL; Detroit, MI; Toronto, ON; Montreal, QC; Boston, MA; the Bowery Ballroom on October 5th; and several other dates.
