The Milwaukee, WI-based emcee Juiceboxxx has developed a reputation for a sound that ’s heavily influenced by old school hip hop – with his bratty, nasal snarl and playfully complex samples, his sound has an uncanny resemblance to License to Ill-Paul’s Boutique-era Beastie Boys. 

The official video for “1-900-Juiceboy” featuring White Rainbow, is the latest single off Juiceboxxx’s free mixtape, Beyond the Thunder Zone, and the track uses a slowed down and very familiar sample – some of you hip hop heads will remember it as the “Ed Lover Dance Theme Song” on the daily edition of Yo! MTV Raps (although if i’m not mistaken it’s from Mac Miller’s “The 900 Number.”) But done with bigger, room rattling drums.
