The Montreal, QC-based duo Solar Year’s much anticipated debut effort, Waverly will see a June 25th release through Ceremony Recordings across North America, and Splendour Records in Europe. Essentially, the album is a re-release of an album that Solar Year quietly released in their native Montreal. The band went back to work on the album, adding a new look and perspective that they felt was sorely missing. “Global Girlfriend” is the first single off the album and it’s an atmospheric, ethereal bit of electronica similar to Enya, and others.
