The other day, the sibling duo of Natalie and Eliot Bergman, a.k.a. Wild Belle to perform their latest single “It’s Too Late” on Conan. I’ve mentioned it before but the song deals with the ache of unrequited love – the narrator of the song is literally begging for just a small bit of attention from the object of their affections. Backed by a ska beat, the song manages to sound incredibly mournful (perhaps due to the horns). 

Deep down, we’ve all practically been there. I know I have. 

2012 was a pretty big year for the duo, as they’ve been covered by the Chicago Tribune, Nylon, Rolling Stone, T (the Style Magazine of the New York Times), and others. But as this year comes to a close, the band announced the release date for their highly anticipated album, Isles – March 12, 2013. The band also will be touring with the incredible Toro Y Moi so be on the lookout.
